In this scheme, people will not only get loan but will also get skill training. People with traditional skills like blacksmith, goldsmith, potter, carpenter and cobbler will get benefit under PM Vishwakarma Yojana. 18 such traditional works have been included in this scheme. PM Vishwakarma Yojana: To further improve the skills of people in the 18 trades decided under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, training will also be given through master trainers and along with this, a stipend of Rs 500 will also be given per day.





Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, September 17, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday, gave a big gift to the people of the country and launched 'PM Vishwakarma Yojana'. This government scheme of Rs 13,000 crore will prove to be very helpful for people with traditional skills in starting their own business. In this, along with skill training, there is also a provision to give loan up to Rs 3 lakh to the beneficiaries in two phases, which will help financially in starting the business. What is Vishwakarma Scheme?

First of all, let us tell you what exactly this PM Vishwakarma Yojana is? So let us tell you that through this scheme, people having traditional skills like goldsmith, blacksmith, barber and cobbler will get benefits in many ways. 18 traditional skill businesses have been included in the scheme by the government, which will help the artisans and craftsmen present in rural and urban areas across India. These include carpenters, boat makers, blacksmiths, locksmiths, goldsmiths, potters who make earthen utensils and other items, sculptors, masons, fish net makers, toy makers and others.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana: 18 traditional works have been included in PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will get skill training with stipend. Apart from this, loan up to Rs 3 lakh can also be taken under the scheme. This scheme will benefit people with traditional skills like blacksmith, goldsmith, potter, carpenter and cobbler.





Will get loan of Rs 3 lakh

Under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, loan facility will be available to start one's own business, provided the person has any traditional skill. Loan up to Rs 3 lakh can be available under the scheme. In the first phase, a loan of Rs 1 lakh is given to start a business. After this, a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh is available in the second phase for business expansion. This loan will be available at only 5 percent interest rate.


Skill training will be done in the scheme

18 traditional works have been included in this scheme. To train people in these 18 trades, training will also be given through master trainers. You will also get a stipend of Rs 500 per day. Apart from this, PM Vishwakarma certificate, ID card, skill upgradation related to basic and advanced training, toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000, incentive for digital transactions will also be given.


This is the qualification

1. Must be a citizen of India.

2. Be associated with any one of the 18 trades included in the scheme.

3. Age should be above 18 years and below 50 years.

4. Have a certificate in the related trade from a recognized institute.

5. Be from any one of the 140 castes included in the scheme.


These documents are necessary

To avail the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary must have Aadhaar card, PAN card, income certificate, caste certificate, identity card, residence certificate, passport size photograph, bank passbook and a must have valid mobile number.


How to apply

1. First of all go to the official website pmvishwakarma.gov.in.

2. Click on Apply Online link here.

3. Register in PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

4. Registration number and password will come to your mobile through SMS.

5. After this, read the registration form thoroughly and fill it completely.

6. Scan and upload all the required documents along with the filled form. After this press the submit button
