Std.10 board will now give the option of basic and standard mathematics, students who do not want to go in science stream will benefit

It seems that the students of Gujarat are falling raw in mathematics, which has been found out from the marks in the subject of mathematics in the result of standard 10. The Department of Education has decided not to let the graph go down further. In which standard 10 students of Gujarat Secondary Education Board will be given 2 options for mathematics subject examination. Which will have standard math and basic math.
There will be two options in the Std. 10th Maths exam
The textbook of mathematics subject in standard 10 will remain the same and there will be no change in the examination taken at school level, although 2 options will be given in the board examination. Students will be given the option to choose Standard Mathematics and Basic Mathematics while filling up the standard 10 board examination forms. Maths Standard and Maths Basic question papers will be different. In both the types of exams, there will be a mark load after the chapter, a mark load according to the type of questions as well as a mark load according to the objectives.
A student who passes in standard mathematics will be able to go into general-science stream
Students who choose standard mathematics in standard 10 will be able to go for general stream and science stream in standard 11. But students who choose Basic Mathematics will only be able to get admission in the general stream. If a student who has passed in Basic Mathematics in Std. A student who fails in standard mathematics will be able to appear in the supplementary examination again subject to the rules of supplementary examination by giving the option of standard mathematics standard or basic mathematics. Students will have to get the written consent of the parents about the option they have chosen.
The decision will increase the result of Std. 10 by 12-14 percent
Considering the result so far, most of the students in standard 10 fail in mathematics. But after the board exams are held in the year 2022, the effect will be seen. The result will increase by 12-14 per cent, so the total result will be 70 per cent. From now on you will get 2 options for mathematics subject in the exam form. Out of which 40 per cent students i.e. 3.40 lakh students can choose standard mathematics and go to science stream, while about 60 per cent students can choose basic mathematics and go to general stream or other stream.
