New instructions regarding implementation of National Achievement Test 2021 :-
NAS 2021 test date is to be held on 12th November 2021.
NAS 2021 test has been conducted from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Survey work is to be done in selected schools of class 3, 5, 8, 10 in 27 districts of the state.
The survey work will be done by the education department and members of CBSE.
NAS is also to be organized in selected schools of government, aided, private and Kendriya Vidyalayas.
During this, instructions to not organize training of teachers and other activities, sports.
About 200-400 Field Investigators (FIs) have been selected per district for the survey work.
Students have been selected as FI.
Instructions to these FIs to reach their selected schools at 7:30 am on the day of survey.
These FIs have to reach the selected schools in remote areas 1 day in advance.
Therefore, BEO, BRC, CAC of the district have been directed to make arrangements for their safe accommodation near the school 1 day before.
For remote and inaccessible areas it is not possible to reach on time on the day of survey. For those areas the supervisors are allowed to collect the sealed packets 1 day before the DEC.
Instructions have been given to provide assistance to DNO, DMC and DEO supervisors for safe passage and storage of sealed packets.
This work is of national level. Therefore, instructions have been given to give top priority to this work.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed that the National Achievement Survey (NAS) will be conducted in November to assess the learning achievements of children in government and private schools by NCERT. NAS An Introduction :- NAS is a survey program developed by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to improve the education level of the school, under which examination is conducted to assess the learning level of students of class 3,5,8 and class 10. For preparation of National Achievement Test in class 3, 5, 8 and 10 in all districts immediately, class wise groups have been made in telegram and all the concerned class and subject teachers of the school have been asked to connect with their headmasters and principals.

This time achievement test will be organized in the subjects of Language, Mathematics, Science, Environmental Studies and Social Studies.
In all schools, students of classes 3, 5, 8 and 10 will be given practice by providing sample papers of previous years NAS.
Get children to practice questions based on various learning outcomes/competencies and while formulating questions, higher order thinking questions will be created and shared with students by sharing them with students.
Through the Telegram group, all the teachers will share what types of exercises to do daily and how to work with the students.
Students have to prepare for NAS through continuous practice on OMR sheet by darkening the circle with pencil, choosing the correct answer, not being able to complete the questions in time limit and various issues related to it.

By reading a paragraph in the language, various questions related to it have to be answered. For its practice, students are provided with their classroom level paragraphs, etc., to get them to practice with understanding and answering the questions related to them.
Fundamental mathematical skills and thoughtful practice are very important in solving problems in mathematics. Give opportunity to children to do more and more practice work based on different competencies in school and at home.
Get the various exercise books provided to the children completed under your supervision as soon as possible. Get the improvement work done by giving maximum time at home for practice and giving regular feedback on them. Classes in which achievement test is to be conducted. Also explain the basics of the previous classes very well.
