WhatsApp will not run on these smartphones with older operating system from November 1, see list

You will have a phone from any company in any country but if it has an old operating system you will not be able to use WhatsApp. WhatsApp can be used only in the latest Geophone with Android 4.1 and above, iOS 10 and above as well as KaiOS 2.5.0.
To enjoy WhatsApp, the user has to update the OS in his device. If your device does not support OS update, you will need to arrange another device for WhatsApp.
